First thing after breakfast, I headed down the road to a farm I'm taking care of. They have a batch of collie pups there right now.
Not a good picture. Puppies are hard to get to sit still. You'll just have to take my word for it, they're adorable.
Next, Honey and I pull started the grader for a friend who had to grade his driveway.
Nice grader, eh?
Went home,((COFFEE)) jumped in the pick up and started loading bales off of some of our fields to bring them home.
This is one ugly load.
Time to get home for milking.((COFFEE)) My view. :)
Thought I'd show you the bright trees around us. They are rapidly losing their leaves.
Back to the house to get the raspberries trimmed and the fruit trees pruned.
Next pumpkins ready for the cellar and corn hung to dry.
This was my view as the sun went down. Time to get home and get supper.
Honey said "Let's go out to eat." Yeah!
Told you it wasn't exciting. It's just life.

Well I thought it was kinda exciting... It sounds like nothing broke all day (except the water trough mishap, maybe), which is exciting. And the leaves are GORGEOUS, which is also exciting. And you went out to eat! That happens once in a blue moon. Exciting!
Your days sound a lot like mine. I spend a lot of time with animals, tractors, and my honey too. Glad to hear everything is great. THe collie puppies are cute. Oh they bring back memories of ours.hehe!
take care and have a wonderful day.
I loved your pictures of your day! I thought you did have an exciting (and very busy) day. Those pups are so cute!

Beth-So good to hear from you. You must have been raised on a farm. :) I miss you and look forward to next weekend.
Jessica-You are a busy lady. All of your chores and your shop besides. Still wish I lived closer.
CaryAnn-Maybe my life is more exciting than I thought???I am grateful for so many blessings.
Those look like some prime jumping haybales... And just looking at those pictures made me feel the fall! And Dulce had more puppies?! Gosh she's a machine! :) love you.
Sounds (and looks) like a pretty good day to me! Would you have it any other way?
Mel-I wish you were here to jump on those bales. We have a couple hundred this year, that's some serious bale jumping. Dulce is taking a break for awhile. :)
Mama Pea-Yes, it was a good day. Things are settling down a bit now and it feels so peaceful.
You must be on the remodeling homestretch.
Seeing into others' farm lives are some of my favorite posts to read :-)
