When winter is getting too long and there seems to be nothing new to do, how about a game of bumper buckets?
Find a nice smooth patch of ice, one that could easily cause injury. Get a five gallon bucket for each player. Have each player sit on a bucket and push themselves around the ice into their opponents. The object of the game is to make your opponents hit the ice. You can "kick the buckets, pull arms, legs, etc. Whatever it takes to make it happen.
No one came in crying, just wet and cold.

Sounds like a wonderful way to get some outdoor fresh air and exercise and to chase away any winter blahs that might be hanging around at the same time. I think we'd all be better off if we took the time to partake of good, clean, simple fun like that. Yay for bumper buckets!

It looks as if they had fun! My girls came up with lots of things too. Many blessings to you and yours.

They did have a good time. My daughter told me the next morning that she was sore. I thought it was her muscles, she said "no, it's the bruises". :)
