Roo the Day

Roo-verb-Process of removing fleece by hand plucking * This is how I prefer to get the fiber off of my Angora rabbits. I only have four, so it isn't a full time job. Today was Charlie's turn to get a grooming. He gives so much fiber that it's amazing there's anything left of him. Here is Charlie after I pulled most of his fur.
And here's the pile of fiber-
My son said the pile is bigger than the rabbit! Good bunny. :)

I wanted to return the blog visit and thank you for taking the time to comment on mine. That pile of angora is just luscious. Reminds me of when I kept angora bunnies. :)

We have sheep for fiber, but my daughter would love to get some fiber rabbits. That is a lot of angora :)

Mama Pea-Are you getting this cold? We have -26 this morning.

Leigh-Glad to have found your site.

Sandra-The rabbits were my daughter's. She's lost interest, but I still want the fiber. I do the Angora goats, also.

You won this morning! We had only -21°! (And that was INSIDE. Hahahahaha!)
