Finally-I'm going to do it. I'm selling shares of my produce. My garden is 3/4 of an acre. Much more food than my honey and I can use.
Produce available now is kale, Swiss chard, a variety of lettuces, rattail radishes, basil, oregano, cilantro and mints. Peas and new potatoes will be ready in about a week.
This is our hoop house going up. It won't be beneficial this year, but next year is should extend our growing season by 2-3 months.
Since I'm very new to this, any of you out there who have some advice??

Wow! You go, girl! CSAs are very popular now and you're in an area where you should have a good sized population to pull from. I'm sure you'll be on a learning curve the first couple of years, but I think your plan is a good idea and I wish you all the success in the world.
The only experience a bit like this that we've had is growing for a local restaurant a couple of years ago that took (literally) anything we offered them. Our big mistake? Not asking enough for our product. Tough lesson to learn.

Mama Pea-Thank you for the advice. I'm not charging much this year as my customers are in this experiment with me and are very understanding. They do know prices go up next year. It is hard to charge what I see some people do. I know the produce is worth it and I do believe in my product so I hope I can actually make a business out of this.
