Loved seeing the pictures of all your animals! We have less snow on the ground, like none(!), than you do. Keep having these temperatures up in the 40s each day. You're right . . . December????

Mama Pea,
We woke up to rain this morning and the snow on the ground is on it's way out. Going through a lot less fuel and wood for the house this year.

Yes, rain here, too, this morning. Now at 10 a.m. our temp is 39°. Ugh. I know it makes it easy for folks to get around and travel during this holiday month, but as you said, I don't think it's particularly good for the garden (do you think our garlic will rot??) nor the loggers. Nor the guys who make their money during the winter snowplowing! We've noticed how very little wood we've gone through so far this heating season. (But I guess we shouldn't complain about that.) Matter of fact, after building a small fire in the kitchen stove this morning and having a pie in the oven, hubby just walked through and said to please not put anymore wood in the stove. It's getting too warm in here!

I also love seeing your critters. But yes, this lack of snow and mild weather is strange. We have sometimes had the lack of snow. However, I don't ever remember these mild temperatures and all this mud.
