Frosty Farm

Well, this morning there's a nice, nippy feel to the air.  The thermometer reads -20, and thank you Lord, all the critters are fine.  A bit frosted up, but fine.
This is the view from the window by my computer this morning.
Going out to do chores, our Newfie is frosted over.
Here's my Angora buck all toasty with his sweatshirt on.  He was too busy eating his pumpkin to pose for the camera.

Here are some frosty heifers.

And last of all...the frosty farmer.

Have a wonderful day and a cup of hot chocolate.

I think the animals fare a lot better in frigid weather than we do! But maybe that's because of the good care we give them. Especially when we had goats, I never could hunker down inside by the fire and enjoy a cold spell because I was always so worried the goats weren't staying warm enough!
