Thanks for you comments Rhonda~~it is always great to hear from you~~ps I have been spending time on your felting posts and linkds. Love them. God Bless roxanne
Thanks for the comment Rhonda! So will this soap I just made smell "lardish"?
Also, is it time to shear my shetlands? It seems too cold yet but you mentioned sheep shearing time.. I best getme a shears if we need to shear them now.
I'd love to trade fiber but I'm not sure how much will be "good" fiber. My shetlands are messy... they have some cocklebur in their fleece that I never got to remove last fall. Plus, never shearing before, I"ll probably have a mess! I can let you know when we shear and I'll see what I have.
Thank you for the info on the soap. It looks good this am. We are going to cut it into bars later. How much should a bar weight? or size to cut? Maybe it doesn't matter.
Let's see, goat count... must be about 24 counting all kids. We have 4 more does who haven't kidded but I'm not sure they are preggers.
I had someone contact me about icelantic sheep for sale, can I send her your way?
OK.. so I go and check the email I received and discovered she's interested in angora goats not icelantic. I'll still send her your way... she's from Camp Riley I do believe.
That certainly looks like a great contest. Thanks for sharing the link!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful weekend!
